Read more...Released first album. Tick. Completed first tour. Tick. Finally recovered. hmmmmm...
It feels like i have come back down to reality and have had the time to catch up with friends and family, which has been so nice! Back into normal every day work and writing some more songs as always - unfortunately nothing ground breaking yet, but not every piece of art can be a master piece! Been following Adele quite a bit too, now that I have the time to look into some of my favourite artists, and am loving her in this interview!

She is so real, laid back, and honest. So nice to have artists like that break through from just being there talented selves.

The countdown begins

Read more...The count down begins…. Only now the count down is in hours, not days or months. It is all a bit overwhelming and emotional to be honest. It has almost been 4 years since we started this project and far out there has been a lot happen in those 4 years! I called the album ‘Concrete & Roses’ as a metaphor to represent the up and down nature of those past 4 years. Concrete to me represents the man made, the hard, the dark and the conformity. Whereas the rose represents the opposite – beauty, natural, light, soft and free. That paradox has been my life for the duration of this project and now with it’s release it almost feels like a closing of a chapter and the beginning of a new one; Which is both exciting and daunting.
